I am a Human Factors and Ergonomics researcher studying how people interact with work, products, environments and technologies. My research combines field-based investigation, human measurement, experimental evaluation and design intervention to understand occupational health, human performance and the realities of work in India.
Background
I joined the Department of Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in February 2026. Previously, I was associated with the Product Design discipline at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. I have also worked with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore. I completed my PhD in Ergonomics at MNIT Jaipur and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Design at IIT Guwahati. I hold a Master’s degree from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rajasthan. You may see list of my papers on Google Scholar.
